You were there . . . Remember?

I'm a little embarrassed to admit I don't know where that is. I guess somewhere in Europe, but you might recall that I was not yet 11 when we returned to the states. While I remember quite clearly little blue footies on our Pan Am flight, a lot of other details have not survived the years.

We spent the night in a refurbished old castle thing. I remember thick stone walls and balconies. We had dinner at some gypsy restaurant and I have seen a picture of all of us together at dinner surrounded by beautiful and alluringly posed Gypsy women. That’s weird isn’t it? Dad and Mom looked really young, and looked like they were having a good time. I recall we wandered the gardens of the Alhambra and I thought we should include the fountains in our backyard. We could have in Morocco, Hozeen would have cared for it. In fact, he may be caring for it today, and may have made his own water gardens. I think he moved in when we moved out. Ha. You have his brass platter don’t you?
