Ten Million Dollars

I read about a national survey of two thousand adults performed in 1991 in which the participants were asked what they would do for ten million dollars:

25% said they would abandon their entire family;

23% would become prostitutes for a week or more;

10% would withhold testimony and let a murderer go free;

7% would kill a stranger;

4% would have a sex-change operation;

3% would put their children up for adoption.
