Hock’s Hill 4

With Roy calling in the foreground, "Come get me," Paul swung his sled for momentum, flung it in front of him and leapt on the top of it. The inertia from the fling combined with steep hill and the icy smoothness of the pathway manicured by Roy's Zamboni run ensured that in no time Paul was hurtling directly toward the Eiffle Tower boulder. When he got to within about three feet of the boulder, he leaned hard left and sent snow splattering like surf spray all over everywhere. Roy yelled from a snow bank,"over here, I'm over here." Paul looked toward Roy for just a split second and . . . well, he was distracted just long enough to miss the brief window of opportunity to avoid the tree. He rolled off the sled just before it shattered to pieces on the trunk and tumbled down the hill next to Roy. Good ole Roy.
