We stayed in this bed and breakfast when we visted Nachez, Mississippi last spring. It was built before the Revolutionary War to house the Spanish Governor. Later, it was part of a cotton plantation, though the bigger plantations were across the Mississippi River on the flood plain on the Louisiana side. This house is filled with antiques from the pre-Civil War era and is part of the pilgrimage tour.

I like the black and white look. Especially the 2nd picture. I once visited a plantation, Houmas House, near New Orleans.
