My Youngest got his dorm assignment yesterday. It's in the dorm next to where Middle lived oh so long ago.
He was on a wait list for a dorm because the U confirmed more dorm dwellers that it had room for. Apparently, some decided to go elsewhere, and places opened up.
Anyway, as we were discussing his packing plans, he told me “I don’t need any sheets, I’m going to bring my sleeping bag.” He is getting advice from older students, so I guess if an experienced source has suggested that will work, it’s okay. He certainly won't have to make his bed (who does in the dorm for that matter). And, if it doesn’t work out, it won’t hurt.
He’s pretty excited about Welcome Week. Next week.
