Luftmensch, pronounced LOOFT-mensh (the "OO" is as in "foot") is the best word of the day I've seen yet.
Of course, you English majors (or pharmacists, for that matter) know it is a noun meaning an impractical contemplative person having no definite business or income.
It's easy to use. But rather than me giving examples, let's see if anyone has read this far, and if you have, give me a sentence, applied to a personal situation using "luftmensch."
I challenge you to find a better word of the day, and if you can't, then to work it into your vocabulary today. Now. Just do it.
