Christmas 2007: "God bless us, everyone!"

Then, we took Papa back home for a good night's sleep

(at 2 am, without any complaint) and checked into our hotel.

Yes, our hotel, there being no room at the inn,

we stayed at the Barton Creek Resort. Here are

siblings singing "Oh Christmas Tree, hotel Christmas

tree . . ." in the lobby Christmas Eve

The next morning we read Luke chapter 2 verses 1-14

among others, and then proceeded to open a few presents.

Eldest's favorite, I suspect, was from youngest sibling

(creatively wrapped in his clean shirt).

Being a natural traveler, youngest wanted breakfast in bed

or a $12 candy bar from the mini bar and developed an

attachment to the hotel robes.

Here is eldest marching around the room to Silent Night

in her nuevos zapatos (aka nouvelles chaussures).

To round out the morning, I visited the fitness center for a workout while they watched Elf. Then, we picked up Partiarch again to return to Aunty's for another great feast, after which we hit the theatre for National Treasure, 2. Patriarch especially liked the movie and said he was "worn out" when we returned him to his home (so he could be in bed by 9).

A good time was had by all.
