Starting in 1982 we have had Magnum, Max, Millie (you know her), Missy, and Monika. K has [My] 'coda (aka Dakota).
Magnum was our first child. A Black Labrador Retriever. I wrote some about him in earlier posts. He understood French. He could balance a cookie on his nose, wait patiently until we said "okay," and then flip it into the air and catch it in his mouth. We loaned him to my single friends during law school to help them meet girls. For about two years after we moved to Dallas, he stayed at a Labrador farm outside Austin until the owners had him sleeping in their bed. It was sort of a summer camp experience for him and it took a while after he returned home to convince him that our bed was not his. He died of old age (15 or so) on July 4 1997.
About a year before Magnum died, I found twin labs at a farm in East Texas and brought home (Monika and Missy). Magnum loved them and they took to him as well. After a while it became too much to keep all three, and Missy moved to a neighbor's ranch.
Dee, who notably does not like dogs, brought home Max one day for a trial, but decided to return him to her cousin after a few days.
You know Millie. She lived here, then with Dad, then with you, and now somewhere in Michigan, I'm told.
[My} 'coda is a black Cocker Spaniel K got from a friend. He is frisky and fun. She mostly keeps at her college house.
Molly seems like a reasonable progression, but I have not heard back from the owners in Georgia.

Don't you have a dog? I can't remember. I think Molly looks very loveable.
